From a 1,000 m² store in Uden and an extensive webshop, they serve a community of enthusiasts of RC cars, drones, planes, boats, and helicopters, with a 9.3 customer rating and lowest price guarantee as their trademark. They needed a platform that could keep up with that ambition.

Over the years, TopRC has built an impressive position: the largest model sports store in the Netherlands, premium dealer of brands like Traxxas and Arrma, with its own fulfillment center and a loyal community of RC enthusiasts. However, the webshop, the digital heart of the company, began to become a bottleneck. A large, rapidly growing catalog and high customer volumes required a platform that was lightning fast, searchable, and easy to maintain. It was not.
Younify rebuilt TopRC’s webshop from the ground up on Magento 2 with the Hyvä theme. The focus was on three pillars: lightning-fast loading for a technical audience that has no patience for slow pages, a catalog structure that makes navigating through thousands of products and parts child’s play, and an omnichannel setup that seamlessly connects the physical store and webshop.
The entire frontend was rebuilt with Hyvä, resulting in loading times reduced to under 1 second and Core Web Vitals scores of 90+. A direct impact driver for conversion and organic traffic.
The extensive product catalog was restructured with advanced filtering by brand, type, drive, and model level. The parts finder was completely rebuilt so that customers can immediately find the right part for their specific RC model.
Together with TopRC, a UX was developed that meets the needs of both beginners and seasoned hobbyists: intuitive category navigation, fast product comparison, clear product pages, and an optimized checkout with a trade-in flow.
The webshop is set up for multiple languages—Dutch, English, and French—to serve the international RC community from one scalable Magento platform without double management.
Technical SEO was included from the ground up: clean URL structure per category and brand, optimized category pages for searches like “Traxxas parts” or “buy DJI drone,” schema markup, and structural growth of organic traffic.
The webshop is integrated with the inventory management of the physical store and the fulfillment center in Uden, ensuring that stock status, delivery times, and pickup options are always accurately displayed to the customer.
The impact of the renewed webshop was immediately noticeable—in technical scores, but also in daily practice. RC enthusiasts find their products faster, the parts finder works as it should, and the TopRC team manages the growing catalog with significantly less technical headache. The platform that was previously a brake on growth is now an engine.
